Hopeful Cities

Full-Service Campaign: Branding, Social Media, PR, and Print Design
for a Mental Health Initiative

About Hopeful Cities:

Hopeful Cities is a program from the International Foundation for Research & Education on Depression (iFRED), designed to spark a global conversation around mental health. Their mission is rooted in prevention, stigma reduction, and community education.

Muse Group was brought on to develop a campaign that would elevate this vision, make mental health more approachable, and engage a wide audience both locally and internationally. Our team led a fully integrated campaign anchored in creativity, clarity, and inclusivity.

Our Approach:

We supported the launch of the 30-Day Hopeful Challenge, a public awareness initiative designed to empower people to build habits of hope through small, daily actions.

Our goal: Create a campaign that felt positive, accessible, and visually engaging—while positioning Hopeful Cities as a leader in mental health advocacy. From strategy to storytelling, everything we delivered was designed to inspire participation and drive visibility across channels.

What We Delivered

Muse Group executed a full-service rollout across digital, print, and media platforms:

  • Social Media Strategy & Management

We developed a tone that was equal parts hopeful and grounded, and rolled out platform-specific content on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

  • Original Reels & TikToks

Our team produced short-form videos to align with the campaign’s daily challenges, helping to increase engagement and shareability among younger audiences.

  • Bilingual Print Collateral

We designed campaign posters and signage in both English and Spanish, making the message more accessible to diverse communities in Reno and beyond.

  • Public Relations & Media Outreach

We managed local PR efforts surrounding the campaign launch and International Day of Hope, securing media coverage and amplifying event attendance.

The Impact:

The campaign achieved strong engagement both online and offline:

  • Over 500 downloads of the 30-Day Hopeful Challenge guide

  • More than 2,000 organic followers gained across social media platforms

  • Campaign visibility expanded through multiple media features and local partnerships

  • Hopeful Cities was elevated as a trusted voice in the mental health space

This campaign not only boosted public awareness but helped make hope—and mental health—a more universal, inclusive conversation.
